Your Friends Board

To accomplish our mission the Friends are committed to providing used books for the public, underwriting materials purchases, and children's programs; and by supporting the library monetarily in other ways.

A Board Member should be able to attend meetings (2nd Tues of every other month), help with decision making about how FPAL can help the Pace library (funds and other), and help with Alyssa’s Book Sale, and/or the Annual Book Sale at Pace First Methodist Church.

If you are interested, we would love to hear from you. Please email us!

Vice-President: Lynn oswald: Lynne is a fifth generation Floridian whose roots in West Florida go back before Florida was a state, with her father being from Marianna and her mother from De Funiak Springs where the oldest continuing running library in the state is located. Her grandfather was a president of the Baghdad Land and Lumber Co. here in Santa Rosa County. Lynne's career as an attorney began when she was an intern for Janet Reno in Dade County. She was a criminal trial attorney for 15 years in Orlando where she served as a Felony Division Chief in the State Attorney's Office.
